Common questions about Contracts and Procurement
Depends on your state and product category. California districts usually start with CMAS for hardware. Texas districts use DIR or Region 10. National co-ops like OMNIA, NCPA, and Equalis cover most other states. Tell us your state and we will point you at the right one.
Co-op contract pricing is usually equivalent or better than direct, because the rates are negotiated for the entire co-op's volume. You get group buying power without doing the negotiation yourself.
Most contract-quoted POs go out within 24 to 48 hours. We confirm the right contract for your district, pull the number, and send a quote with line items already aligned to the contract pricing.
Yes. STS is C-7 licensed in California, bondable for school district vendor compliance, and registered as an approved vendor in every state where we hold a co-op contract.
