Esports Sponsorships for High School Seniors
Nampa Press Release – 5/9/2024
STS Education, a technology provider for K12 schools and districts with a comprehensive esports offering, is proud to announce a new esports sponsorship for three outstanding high school seniors – Keegan Wirrell, Alex Grover, and Patrick Lewis Jr. from Nampa High School. The sponsorship recognizes their exceptional skills and commitment to the game Rocket League.
The sponsorship package was presented to the students at a special award ceremony on Wednesday, May 1 at 1:45 pm MT at Nampa High School’s auditorium. It includes:
- Lenovo Legion high-performance gaming laptops
- Elite Rocket League coaching from STEM Forged to prepare for major tournaments
- MaxCases premium backpacks to protect their esports gear
- A featured interview on the STS Education “Learning Through Technology” podcast
“We first met Keegan, Alex and Patrick at the IETA conference in February, where they were demonstrating their incredible Rocket League skills,” said Rob Fiance, CEO of STS Education. “We learned they didn’t have firm esports or college plans after high school graduation. We wanted to open their eyes to the opportunities available and support their passion.”
The sponsorship aims to help guide the students toward collegiate esports programs and potential professional esports careers.
“These young men have shown truly amazing talent and teamwork. We are honored to propel them to new heights after high school through this sponsorship package,” added Fiance.
STS Education would like to thank its co-sponsors STEM Forged and MaxCases for partnering to make this opportunity possible.
